- No Contextual Understanding: The scanner flags specific words but cannot understand the legal context, nuance, or intent behind a clause.
- Incomplete Database: While we maintain a robust dictionary of over 500 terms, it is not exhaustive. Dangerous or predatory clauses phrased differently than our exact keywords will not be flagged.
- Not Jurisdiction-Specific: Laws vary wildly by state, county, and country. The scanner does not apply local statutory laws or current court precedents to your document.
3. Absolute Limitation of Liability
By using ContractScanner.app, you expressly agree that under no circumstances shall the creators, developers, owners, affiliates, or partners of ContractScanner.app be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the service.
