ContractScanner sells report credits. One credit produces one full report for one contract, delivered instantly. Because you can test the service for free before paying, and because each report costs us money to generate the moment you use it, all purchases are final. This page explains what that means, the two situations that are not refunds, and the rights that the law gives you regardless.
Try before you buy
The free preview shows you the quality of the analysis on your own contract: the summary, the overall risk, the three most important clauses and whether a lawyer is recommended. Please use it before you pay. If the preview is not useful to you, the full report will not be either, and you should not buy it.
All sales are final
- Credits are not refundable once purchased, whether or not you have used them.
- Credits cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred to another person.
- Credits stay valid for 24 months from the date of purchase, so there is no need to use them straight away.
- Disagreeing with the model's view of a clause is not a defect. A report is an AI-generated starting point, not a guarantee, as explained in our Disclaimer.

Two things that are not refunds
- The report failed to generate. If our system cannot produce a report, your credit is not used; it stays on your account automatically. If you believe a credit was taken without a report being delivered, email us with your receipt reference and we will restore it.
- You were charged twice for one purchase. A duplicate charge is our error or PayPal's, not a purchase. Tell us and we reverse the duplicate the same day.
A report that is blank, cut off, or clearly did not read your document is treated as a failed report: email us and we will re-run it at no cost.

- Include your receipt reference. It starts with
cs_and appears in your purchase confirmation email and on your account page. - You do not need to send us the contract; we would rather you did not.

Chargebacks and PayPal disputes
Please contact us before asking your bank or PayPal to reverse a payment. A credit restored or a duplicate reversed by us takes a day; a dispute takes weeks and costs both of us fees. If a dispute is opened for a purchase that was delivered as described, we may suspend the account while it is investigated.
Your statutory rights
Some countries give consumers rights to cancel digital purchases that this policy does not. In the European Union, the United Kingdom and some other places, for example, you may have a right to cancel a digital purchase within 14 days unless you agreed to immediate delivery and acknowledged that you lose the right to cancel once delivery begins; that is what the checkout page asks you to agree to. Nothing in this policy reduces a right that the law where you live does not allow us to exclude. If such a law gives you a right to a refund, that law applies, and you can claim it by emailing us.
Changes
We may update this policy. Purchases are covered by the version in force on the day you bought.
